At something like 3am on wednesday night, my friends decided it would be a good idea to go to bed. Pah! I thought, and headed back to the festival, mentally congratulating myself on how damn hardcore I was. I met up with some random folks in a chai bar and we went to the small world together to watch some folk music.
At about five or six my back was hurting something terrible, so I went to bed. I woke, still a bit wasted, at seven. Since no-one else was up I cursed them as a bunch of lightweights and went off to buy a program. A couple hours later, programless, I returned to the camp and collapsed to recuperate. "I'm a mess" I informed anyone who would listen. "I'm totally a wreck today..."
If I lay down long enough, I figured, I'd be ok again and could go off and party some more that night.
At six I gave up and went to bed...
These photos were taken during the 2007 Big Green Gathering, an annual eco-festival in Somerset. Clearly the best festival ever, it's a week of workshops, folk music and random sketchiness.
