California Least Tern hover DSC_8838
A California Least Tern hovering over the water. I was so excited to get a photo of this smallest of all Terns. The California Least Tern has also been on the Endangered Species list since 1970 too so I was thrilled to get this photo and I counted six of them interacting with each other it is breeding time right now too.
