Stonemaster tourney: Lunch time
Did not eat the usual mamak shop across the street. Didn't find any friends who finished so I went alone.
Lost my second round game to an elderly man. I believe he was from the east coast. Totally underestimated this old man as he played at bullet speed without making major mistakes. I reached the middle game in severe time trouble with about 3 minutes left while he had 20 minutes. I blundered a whole rook away and managed to get checkmated with less than a minute on the clock.
It's now 1.40pm and I'm waiting for my Nasi Goreng Ayam :D
Ah.. some chess friends called up and will be joining. Don't have to eat alone.
Anyway, next round starts at 2pm. Not much time for chit chat..
Stay tuned for more updates. Battery no longer a problem as I replaced my handphone battery with a new one which seems to last the whole day even with heavy use.
