Stranded behemoth

Part of our Bank Holiday weekend was a day at the beach. We chose Budleigh Salterton as our destination and tried to stay away from the masses by going to the very eastern end of the pebble beach with its interesting red cliffs. While the sea retreated during our stay this mega jellyfish was exposed on the shore and I quickly grabbed my camera before it dried out in the scorching sun. I am not entirely sure which species this is but I guess it is a barrel jellyfish (the ones that do not sting you...).
