Bank Holiday Picnic

Our second trip into Dartmoor during last bank holiday weekend led us to Meldon Reservoir, on the north-westerly edge of Dartmoor National Park. It's such a fantastic area, reminded us of our past trips in the Cairngorms. There were colourful flowers everywhere - gorse, rhododendrons and hawthorn trees were in full bloom. We had a lovely picnic overlooking the reservoir just below that tree. The resting sheep added a nice bit of interest to this motif I think.
