Weather issues?

Nope. After some discussion with the older students earlier this week we decided on an experiment they had suggested to try out today.

 

For morning break, the K-3 students would use the playground and the 4-7 students would get it for the afternoon break.

 

This to relieve the congestion when both groups are on together which is the normal case. The older students had asked for the experiment.

 

This afternoon break, the older students were almost entirely away from the area.

 

When asked afterwards, the said that being off the playground in the morning had meant the creation of new games to play and so they know no longer felt the need for the age split.

 

At least they were part of the decision to return to the way I like it… cooperative play for all ages.
