Sorrow

This is the first piece of the new series i've made and for the first time i didn't used snaps from IW (SL): they are real photos. And for me this is really interesting... Its a bit i am curious to see the result of the kind of treatment i usually do, applied on real pictures.

 

The photos of the Series are not taken by myself but they are from Laura Galley, a very good photographer that lives in Usa that uses her sons and the friends of them as models...please check it out her beautiful stream *smiles*.

 

So ...this is the story: we discover our respective photostream and appreciated the works of each other and she tagged me on the last september ...i obviously refused *LOL* her kind request and asked her if she could like a collaboration on the pictures. She was enthusiastic and gave me a FTP adress where to download twelve shots in raw format...i chosed one of them and worked on it and then i sent it to her for an opinion.

Laura liked it and i was glad of the result too so i decided to work on more of them and i had this Sentiment Series idea: the use of 3 really beautiful shots to represent three tormenting state of mind where the first letter is "S" : Sorrow, Silence and Solitude (and here i have to mention the kind and passionate help i had from my friend Mecca Merosi in the envelope of the idea *smiles*).

The models are Daniel, Sam and Leanne, interesting and beautiful teen-agers from England.

I found them perfect to give me the inputs of the expressions of thoughtful "torment" that u can find on the face or in the moves of everyone when something doesnt work good...and yes...i find torment very creative and interesting *grins*.
