segs solar power plant

some of the worlds largest solar power plants are located in the mojave deserts. this is the SEGS solar power plant at Kramer Junction. The whole facility makes up the biggest solar power plant in the world.

 

from the wiki: "The facilities have a total of 936,384 mirrors and cover more than 1,600 acres (6.5 km2). Lined up, the parabolic mirrors would extend over 229 miles (370 km)."
