End of an Elevator III - Gothenburg, NE

After I shot the eastbound autorack in the last image, I set about the sad business of documenting the demolition efforts on Gothenburg's wood elevator.

 

I think I now know went wrong for the Mayans. They were predicting the end of time for this elevator instead of the whole world. The two are easy to confuse, after all. ;-)
