And Now For Something Completely Different...
I woke up early this morning with intentions of getting out and getting some dramatic rain photos. Sadly, much of the rain missed Pueblo and all we had were ugly overcast skies. So I put the camera equipment away and dug out my watercolors that Amanda bought me that I had neglected using.
This was done mostly to get a feel for the watercolor/ink process on my own terms. It's the first piece I've painted that is entirely my own and I'm rather happy with how it turned out! It's roughly based on the grain elevator in Merino, CO but is mostly just a free form of the general idea of a wood elevator in Anyplace, Midwest, USA.
