Pi

Pattern: Pi Shawl from the Knitter's Almanac by Elizabeth Zimmermann

Yarn: Unspun Icelandic wool from Schoolhouse Press (super amazingly sheepy, smells straight from the farm!)

Needles: US 8 big ass circular

Notes: This yarn was a house-warming gift to myself and so I figured I'd knit something for the house with it. This beautiful blanket is one of my proudest accomplishments for a few reasons: it's really big and I usually get bored with large projects and set them aside. I messed up on the lace part at the bottom and set it aside for some time, and actually picked it back up! I put stitch markers every 70 sts so that if there was a mistake in the lace, I wouldn't have to rip out over 500 stitches. And it's almost August and I had a huge heap of super warm wool hanging on me. But it's done and I'm really really happy with it! Happy Housewarming, me!
