Building Blocks: How Do We Get to Universal High-Quality Early Childhood Education
Early childhood is a period of tremendous growth. If we fail children at this crucial stage in their development, later efforts to create global citizens will fail too. We need to understand what constitutes best practise for early children development and how to take successful efforts to scale.
This briefing will bring together high-level experts and representations to: present evidence-based models showing the best ways to deliver early childhood care and education outcomes; provide guidance on specific and cost-effective financing opportunities to harness the synergies between education, health and nutrition; and highlight the critical importance of early childhood learning to ensure every child reaches their potential, and SDG4 is fully achieved.
Speakers
The Hon Julia Gillard, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Global Partnership for Education, Global Partnership for Education
Mr Tariq Al Gurg, CEO, Dubai Cares
