Phnom Chisor ancient stone Hindu temple, Cambodia

Ancient 11th century Hindu stone temple ruins on the top of Phnom Chisor, a holy hill in the countryside of Takeo province, Cambodia. In the nearby new Buddhist temple a sad sight: a monkey chained to a pole in clear distress. The reason I was told: "The monkey keeps trespassing the temple property and making a mess." I couldn't help to wonder if the monkey would agree with that narrative.
