Bane Of Wasps

Wespendief ♀ - female Honey buzzard or Pern (Pernis apivorus).

 

Migratory, here in summer only;

as is obviously their primary food source.

Overwintering in tropical Africa.

 

Very rare too. In the Netherlands, the breeding population

is estimated at 330-400 breeding pairs.
