The night sky looking southwest from the Moray coast at Buckie, Scotland at 20.34 UT on 7th February 2024.
The brightest object, below centre of picture, is the planet Jupiter. Towards top left, in the constellation of Taurus, are the Hyades and Pleiades star clusters.
The photo is a combination of three 15-second images taken on a Canon EOS 6D Mk II camera with zoom lens at 27 mm focal length. Each exposure was 15 seconds / f4 / ISO 4000. The images were merged together in 'Sequator' software with final adjustment of the image levels made in 'Photoshop Elements'.
