Robber at Sunset
Happy FlyDay Friday! The biggest Robber Fly I’ve ever seen, about 3cm. It was also reasonably photo-friendly, I’d get a few shots in, then it would fly to another nearby plant, and let me take a few more — rinse and repeat about 5 times! Its whiskers have caught the late afternoon sun (it’s a natural light shot), but surprisingly the eye-patch did not blow-out. Eye blow-outs are an unpleasant addition to most natural light shots of robbers and dragonflies. Maybe the low sun angle helped?—————————————— Single outdoor, handheld, natural light shot, with a Sony A7S, 90mm Sony 2.8 lens, F13, iso 4000, shutter 1/250s, RAW-LR6-Topaz Apps
