Night-time trek up Black Hill on the Malvern Hills in Worcestershire, UK on Wednesday with Mark in hopes of catching a snowy landscape illuminated by the quarter moon...
The going was pretty treacherous with lots of compacted snow and thick ice making the hike up difficult in places, however the effort was worth it.
Did consider venturing further along the ridge line from Black Hill up to the Worcestershire Beacon at 425 m (1394 Ft) but the conditions were not worth the risk, especially having work this week, any accidents would have been frowned upon, also does Malvern even have mountain rescue? I hope I never have to find out :)
Still, I managed to get a few images which I'm pleased with and eased my disappointment of not being able to get out a couple of weeks back and all the snow we had then.
Comments, questions always welcome.
Happy NY.
