Thutmose I in the British Museum. Egyptian New Kingdom 18th Dynasty.

Ruler during the Egyptian New Kingdom 18th Dynasty and father of Hatshepsut and Thutmose II.

Believed by some biblical archaeologists and scholars to be the pharaoh who was responsible for the death of the newborn baby boys that were cast into the Nile. May be the pharaoh who ruled when Moses was born and drawn from the Nile River by the pharaoh's daughter as mentioned in the Bible's book of Exodus.
