Hollywood Video in Port Richmond Village
SinceI've been hearing so much as of late about how Blockbuster Video is in a VERY bad way (financially) these days, what with Netflix and even Red Box automated DVD rental machines (including onces we have around here), I can't help but wonder a few things as a direct result...
First off, if Blockbuster is feeling ther financial burn due to Netflix and Red Box, then what is the current status for THIS particular movie rental chain? *Shrugs shoulders*
Second.. if Blockbuster is on the verge of collapse as some seem to be hinting, would Hollywood video look to buy 'em out?
*Shrugs again* But, please believe me... this is all just mere speculation and conjecture on my part.
And, either way... since Blockbuster is owned by Viacom, I'm sure they'll still do just fine what with running the TV media outlets like CBS and their partial ownership in the CW Network.... which around here, is considered to be CBS 3's sister station on the local TV airwaves.
Also, while I've not had cable TV since about the mid-late 90's, I assume Viacom still owns/operates MTV, Nick and other cable TV channels.
