Taken as a detail of a bldg complex of very minimal architectural details. Previous photos show one of the 3 colorful structures — red, blue, & beige — the shapes remind me of granneries — the designer chose to make color the foremost aspect — the stairs & doors to these 2-story bldgs are painted in bold contrasting colors and further accented as you see here with the simple and elegant colors of iris lining the walkways contrasted against a bold red block wall. This minimal landscaping compliments the project's architecture.

 

I have wanted to photo this group for a while now — was in the area on this day and decided to stop for a quick shot that turned into a half hour of eye candy for me — More photos to come.
