International Women’s Day, Mexico City
Red shoes in the Zocalo, the main square of Mexico City. Each one representing a victim of femicide in Mexico, where an average of ten women are murdered every day. On Sunday an estimated 80,000 women took to the streets of Mexico City for Mexico's biggest ever International Women's Day.
