Hikers descend the cables of Half Dome and then follow the trail down through Little Yosemite Valley. Obtaining this photo angle requires several miles of off-trail hiking through rugged terrain. This is a stack of 43 2.5-minute exposures, for a total exposure time of about 107 minutes. The lights on the far left are Glacier Point, and on the far right, hikers can be seen atop Clouds Rest. A small lightning-caused wildfire is visible just to the right of Half Dome. Nearly two months later, that fire has reached 3000 acres and is still burning.
