Milky Way and Adaptive Optics Laser
Keck's laser was being used to observe the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Some thin cirrus clouds passed through and created the burst near the tip of the laser. Shot with a star tracker and a Rokinon 50mm f/1.4 at f/2.5 from Mauna Kea, Hawaii.
