Los Angeles Mountains Pano

A rare winter storm hit southern California last night. Knowing that the mountains had snow and the smog that usually obscures Los Angeles would be greatly reduced, I made the journey to photograph it. This is taken from Kenneth Hahn Park, which I found using Google Earth to search for a hilly area in line with the skyline and snowy mountains.

This image is a panorama of six vertical images taken at 300mm on a 1.6x crop camera.

2019 edit: I returned to this spot in February 2019 after an even crazier storm. The result can be viewed at flickr.com/photos/geekyrocketguy/33146682158.
