For Sale... John Deere GT235E
We're moving to a place with a *much* smaller yard--hate to give up our "Cadillac of mowers," but we just won't have the space for it.
I believe these are the correct specs:
* 18hp, V-twin
* B & S Vanguard
* 570 pounds dry weight, plus 148 pound 54" mower
* wide 23" turf tires
* auto (hydrostatic)
* manual lift on the deck
* electric PTO (runs deck)
Features a built-in generator with 120v outlet to run electric items like weed-eaters, hedge trimmers, and extra lighting without having to drag extension cords around.
We've had it since about 2004, bought brand-new from the John Deere dealer. I think it has about 50 hours run-time on it, but I need to confirm that when I get home.
It mows our entire 1-acre lot pretty quickly--instead of the nearly 4 hours it used to take with a smaller riding lawn mower, the 54" deck took it all down in about 40 minutes.
