connecting my indy optically to my stereo (2)
not long ago i spent some time in turning an old silicon graphics indy into a mp3 player... and during the holidays i spent even more time getting it to geektechnique.org/projectlab/835/update-the-indy-now-scro... and after that i kept having the thought it would be better to connect this setup to my stereo optically instead of electronically... and so i went out and bought a converter who does just that... (i tried a homegrown solution with an asus spdif backplate but that didn't work out somehow... ah well, this works for now and maybe this converter will give me the clues to still make a homegrown solution...)
now my mediacenter and my indy are both connected optically to my stereo...
