Strawberry Red Highlights? I think NOT!
NO, my hair does not currently look like this.
I never color my hair. NEVER. I have dark blonde hair with lighter blonde highlights naturally. Many women play hundreds to get their hair to look like mine.
This one time I decided I wanted a few Strawberry Blonde highlights in also. I went to the salon, told them what I wanted. Showed them a photo of the highlights I wanted along with a photo of the color I wanted.
Photos were ignored and THIS is what happened. I had cherry red clunky highlights in my hair.
I am not a vain person, but I was honestly bawling at the salon. They offered to "fix" it for me, but I told them I didn't want them to touch my hair ever again.
I had a friend who was in beauty school. I showed up at her house. When she opened the door it was "OH MY GOD, HONEY COME INSIDE AND LET'S FIX THAT."
Amber had to bleach my hair three times and put two dark brown colors on it. All that happened was the red turned maroon, the blonde turned brown. She couldn't do anything else that night to my hair or it would fall out from so much treatment in one day. So for two weeks, I had maroon hair until she could color it even a darker brown.
Needless to say, I learned my lesson and will never color my hair again.
