Seyfert's Sextet Chandra Only
Possibly useful if you understand x-ray astronomy or want to understand it. Harder x-rays in blue, softer in red.
Luminosity is provided by a .20-7.00 keV image. I decided that if I had a point source that produced 3 photons with one from each filter range, it would completely disappear if I didn't use a luminosity layer, so I decided it's important to use one.
Data are from Observation ID 11261
Red: .30-.95 keV
Green: .95-2.87 keV
Blue: 2.87-7.00 keV
North is NOT up. It is 19.6° counter-clockwise from up.
