Day 135
I replaced all the tubes in my Mesa/Boogie Mark IIb combo amplifier today. I recently repacked the amp because I had the speaker improperly mounted. I ordered almost all Sovtek tubes to replace the Groove Tubes that were in it. There is one Chinese 12AT7 tube, but the rest are Russian Sovtek 12AX7 and 6L6GCs. Sounds good but still a little muddy...I'll replace the speaker soon then take it to Dr. Dan for a once over!
