Day 043
Schecter PT
I am trying my Schecter PT at rehearsal tonight. Since we are no longer tuning guitars to Drop-C# I am able to put my usual strings (Ernie Ball Super Slinky .009-.042) on it and tune it to Eb standard. It worked out pretty well. It will take some getting used to but it is between this guitar and the Charvel to become my main guitar in Distorted Silence.
I stopped at Guitar Center before rehearsal because I wanted to get some dedicated 10' cables for rehearsal. I have been wanting a clean boost for the Orange since I have joined the band and remembered that I could easily get a boost with a Graphic EQ pedal. The Boss GE-7 is $120 new so I went for it. Well, they only had the display model in stock so the guy worked a deal for me: The pedal and a 2-year extended warranty (waste of money) at regular price and the 3 $17 cables for $0.03. Still cheaper than if I bought all of those items separately. But no box or manual for the GE-7.
