Brindled Ochre (Dasypolia templi)
North Antrim, October 2022. This is a moth designed to survive through the winter, well the females at least. They emerge and mate in the autumn but only the female hibernates for the winter to emerge in spring to lay her eggs on Hogweed and Angelica.
