Château de Castelnaud

Overlooking the Dordogne River is the restored medieval fortress Chateau de Castelnaud. This view of the medieval castle is from the side of a hill towards the south of the Dordogne in the village of Castelnaud-la-Chapelle. Originally built in the 12th century it has a turbulent history.
