A technological oddity from 2007. This was a card dedicated to handling physics simulations (water, cloth etc). It plugged into a spare (now very rare) PCI card on your motherboard and mostly made a lot of noise.
It is worth remembering that this was a time when our home computers had one core, sometimes two. These days even your phone has more than one core. 😂
Unfortunately the card didn't catch on, but the company was acquired by Nvidia and the technology incorporated into its graphics cards.
