This image was the result of a long day of struggling with unrealistic expectations.
After 3 hours of sleep and while suffering a face like a betrayed marmot, I headed into the snow-covered mountains near Gold River, BC.
All-day long I experienced failure after failure until I finally gave up all hope of witnessing any good light.
I reckon that fate knows when you're bluffing. You have to really, genuinely relinquish all hope and admit total defeat before fate decides to throw you a bone.
