'Fire On Water' - Athabasca Falls, Jasper National Park

Join myself and instructor Rachel Jones Ross in Jasper National Park this winter for a two day workshop. We'll be chasing frozen waterfalls and snow capped mountains in some of Canadas most stunning landscapes.

Dates are February 22nd and 23rd. If you like adventure and epic scenery you will not be disappointed :) For more info visit this link www.astralisphotography.com/downloads/jasper-photography-...

I'm putting together a video tutorial showing how I shoot and process images of the aurora.

-------------- About the Shot --------------------------

We had a proper light show the other night so we headed up to Athabasca Falls in Jasper National Park to ensure our cameras were pointing North.

I shot a lot of exposures but this one was the one I liked the most.

Most exposures were around the 6" to 8" mark and I was able to drop the ISO down to 1600 for the brighter moments of the Aurora.

Thanks for looking
