'Fall On Your Spear' - The Old Man of Storr

I didn't set out to prove a point with this trip, but I pretty much knew that February in the Highlands would be challenging.

When 'Storm Henry' hit the Isle of Skye with full force I quickly realized I'd have to rethink my shooting plans.

In spite of the sideways rain, floods and high winds blowing lorries off cliffs I still managed to snag a few nice shots.

After a couple of failed attempts, this was my first half decent shot of the Old Man of Storr.

The day before I'd been blown to the ground a couple of times and my tripod nearly flew away with camera attached.

So, the point is, no matter how bad the weather, it's still worth venturing out to shoot - if it's safe.

Or even if it's not all that safe.

I'm putting together a photography workshop for the Isle of Skye so if you'd like to shoot at this exact location in October of 2016 please sign up to may mailing list at www.fototripper.com to get the latest info on this workshop.

Enjoy and please share.
