'You're Avin a Larch Incha?' - Lake Louise

From the picture you'd be fooled into thinking this a tranquil, peaceful spot.

 

Wrong, thousands of people were shuffling around the lake behind this camera.

 

As lovely as Lake Louise can be, you'll have a much nicer experience if you drive on by and go up to Peyto Lake which, while still busy, doesn't have a huge resort looming over it and requires a short but steep hike.

 

September though, is when you'll find those gorgeous yellow larch trees adding a splash of colour to the landscape.
