Monarch Caterpillar (Danaus plexippus)

I bought some milkweed last week to plant in my garden, because I wanted to provide a spot for monarch butterflies to lay their eggs. Almost every plant in the nursery had at least one monarch caterpillar already on the plant, so you could say I got a free monarch starter kit with my purchase. It's amazing how fast they increase in size in just a few days; it's almost like you can see them growing.

In camera-related news, I'm loving the touch screen on the 6D Mark II. It's a lot quicker to examine different parts of the image than using the buttons on my old 6D.
