Mesa Arch HDR

I spent the day learning the “correct” way to do HDR with my CS4 Photoshop. I watched a couple of Utube videos and learned the error of my way from other times I tried HDR.

Here is what I figured what the program is doing …. When you have 3 images shot with step bracketing (Under exposed, normally exposed and over exposed) and you “technically” stack the data that can be used in processing. So, the over exposed image has the shadow detail and the under exposed has the highlight detail and finally the normal exposed has the mid range detail. Most of my processing then was dodging & burning areas I wanted to stand out. Here is the end result of one of my 1st edits.
