Maker '06 - Monome
Monome was there with their cool, totally open-source 8x8 LED button pushpad. It's pretty pricey, but there's only a limited run. They made their own custom membrane switches, which are a really clever design that permits the LED up the center, and the whole deal is serial-in for the LEDs, serial out for the button pushes. Totally sweet piece of machinery, and it's fun to see something this tight, and high-tech looking, milled to perfection, without a single logo or product ID stamped on it :)
