Though we've had some sub-freezing nights recently, daytime temps have really improved allowing more and more Camellias to blossom without damage. There are thousands of beauties this week at the National Arboretum.

 

Most Camelia varieties have blossoms 3-4 inches in diameter, this one was notably smaller, less than 2 inches.
