Processed with canon DPP software. I think I could do better with photoshop but am having desktop crashing problems at home..processed at work.
Wit: Photo taken of staples using my T2i Canon and my microscope.
I think its a pretty good example of contrast (light and dark)

The colors are somewhat of an enigma to me. The staples to the naked are are metallic. Im pretty sure the black areas are the spaces in between the staples.
