Dried Apple - Las Cruces, New Mexico

While I was house hunting for my son in Las Cruces, we visited one house that was in the area where there were pecan nut farms. I've never seen a pecan tree so I started looking around and found some cool pecan nuts and also some apple trees. The dried apples looked like they were there for years so this one came home with me. It seems this little dried apple has an interesting "look" to it. Perhaps a bit of sliding is in order, we'll see.

Shot with: VOIGTLANDER, 125mm f/2.5 SL, MACRO APO-LANTHAR @ f/6.7, 23 Layer Focus Stack.

Measures 1.75 inches w/stem x 1.5 inches.

Interesting note: The Nikon D850 allows me to "add" manual lenses but only Nikon lens, they didn't make a 125mm focal length lens so I selected 135mm. The EXIF data shows 135mm but I always forget to set/change this so most of the time it's wrong! also did you know that f/5.6 plus one half stop is f/6.7, I do now! This is also not correctly shown in the EXiF data.
