Lotten Rönquist - Archipelago Scene with Children [1889]
Lotten Rönquist (Uddevalla, July 1, 1864 - 1912) was a Swedish painter. She studied at the Technical School in Stockholm 1880-84, the Art Academy 1884-90 and then in France and for five years in Italy. During her last fifteen years of life, she performed several monumental murals for hotels, castles and churches. She died in 1912 of pneumonia at the peak of her career.
