Apparatus For The Energizing Of A Single Light-Emitting Diode Under Manual User Control (167/365)

SUMMARY: An apparatus that enables the operation of a light-emitting diode (hereafter referred to as "LED," seen at lower right), by manual closing of a switching device (in operator's hand, bottom left). This makes a circuit enabling current to flow from an internal 9 volt battery (included) through the LED and an appropriate series resistor, achieving the desired result of illuminating said solid-state device.

Extended testing has not shown a need for any additional cooling for the LED, but for now a contingency manually activated cooling system is provided. This consists of a Rocket Blower, seen just to the right of the operator's hand.
