Roseneath Carousel
Built in 1906 in Abilene Kansas by C.W.Parker, the carousel boasts 40 basswood horses, three abreast, and 2 boats.
Purchased by the Roseneath Agricultural Society in 1932 for $675.00 in 1932. In 1986 a massive $400,000.00 fundraising campaign began to restore the relic to its original condition.
Reopened in 1993 and in 1998 a new building was built around the carousel....
A 1934 Wurlitzer 125 Military Band organ, complete with Paper Rolls, ushers out the nostalgic music.
