Yellow Castle 375 Tribute
In design school we learned that constraints inspire creativity. If you'd told me to build just any castle, I'd have been stuck. As soon as I decided to build variations on set 375, I had a dozen ideas.
This has been a year-long tribute to set 375 by Daniel August Krentz, the first non-Danish fan to end up as a designer at LEGO. Like the original, these are 32x32 studs, open up on the sides, and follow the footprint of three towers and a front and back gate.
I displayed this collection at BrickCon this year; the tree-top castle won Best Fantasy. More photos of all the castles:
Hope you've enjoyed them!
Blogged by Bricknerd, thank you :)
