Little Bears Shenandoah
Sunset Scene -- Shenandoah Valley
Although I did capture some average plus Sunset photos today, it's not what I was hoping for! I had the Male Red-bellied Woodpecker in my yard today, but he sure is skittish, so I captured one really horrible shot of him, and then he flew away once he noticed me. I've never been able to get a good shot of him, even with him being a regular visitor to my yard! I also had a Northern Flicker visitor to my yard today, which is very rare, I only remember it one other time, back this past summer sometime. I was on my computer, and I saw it fly by with it's unmistakable Black Neck Patch. It flew past the window and landed on a tree. I was about ready to get up to go out with my camera, and then I saw it fly away from the farm. Hopefully it will be back tomorrow! I will be out much of the day looking for it. I also went out today driving, and to town, and saw a Pileated Woodpecker, and Red-tailed Hawk, to name a couple of my sightings, but they were to quick for pics.
