L'ebreo Abraham Borenstein è stato colpito "mentre tentava di fuggire" May 15,1941
Hanno tirato [la capos] o il cappuccio dalla vittima selezionata e la gettò ... dietro la catena di "guardia". E le guardie erano pronti e in attesa. Poi il capo ha costretto la sua vittima per eseguire in modo rapido e recuperare il tappo. Tutti sapevano che doveva morire appena varcato la linea. Ma a volte il condannato arbitrariamente scelto dal Capos ... aveva ancora troppo timore della morte. Poi ha cominciato per il capo e le guardie il loro gioco desiderato ... hanno bloccato via in una frenesia che alla fine di sangue imbrattato rovina di un uomo che si trascinava lungo carponi verso la linea della morte.

The Jewish Abraham Borenstein was shot "while attempting to escape"May 15,1941
They [the capos] pulled o the cap from the selected victim and threw ...it behind the "guard chain". And the guards were ready and waiting. Then the capo forced his victim to run quickly and retrieve the cap. Everyone knew he must die as soon as he crossed the line. But sometime the condemned person arbitrarily selected by the capos ... was still too fearful of death. Then began for the capos and the guards their desired game...they stuck away in such a frenzy that in the end a blood-smeared ruin of a man dragged himself along on all fours towards the death line.
