Just three Earth Pounds (£3) will buy you one of these nifty little devices which will power one of the common-or-garden electronic experimenter's breadboard with either 5V or 3.3V (or one of each), from another single supply of between 6.5V and 12V.
A nice touch is the USB socket so you can also power a device which uses that method.
As you can see the build quality isn't exactly top notch (and neither is the photo!) but it works a treat.
